Yesterday my pastors entrusted me with what I consider a huge task for little me. I was asked to teach bible study. This was an honor in that I know how much we sheep mean to our pastors- they love us and are genuinely concerned about our souls and spiritual growth. I sought the Lord diligently on the teaching material and he spoke as promised. God is so awesome and he does reward those that diligently seek him.

I'm growing in my Christian walk and my gifts are being perfected by God, not by my own hands or ways. God opens doors and shuts them in his own timing because he is Sovereign. He governs the seasons in our lives, we are just the vessels.

I 've realized God has a Master plan and it's for my good. I now have come to the understanding that even the fiery trials that have or will occur play a part in developing a Spirit of excellence. My pastors are serious role models- spiritual parents and mentors. I'm now able to operate freely in my gifts without hesitance, or doubt. Truly the gifts of the Spirit are not about us but for the Body of Christ. They are also designed to reach the non-believers who need to Salvation.
